(Columbia, MD) is seeking a Staff Application Engineer: Support RF, RRM, and LBS Conformance Test System; provide consulting for customer test plan implementation and development. #LI-DNI </li></ul> <p>Exciting insights into Rohde & Schwarz</p> <p>Our colleagues provide insider information about:</p> <ul> <li>Daily adventures and challenges </li><li>Our passionate team </li><li>The technologies behind the innovative projects and solutions </li></ul> <p>Your browser does not support the video tag</p> <p>Your qualifications</p> <ul> <li>The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, or a related field, and five years' progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation, to include: 5 years' experience working with mobile communications technologies including 2G/3G/4G/5G; 5 years' experience with 3GPP and supplementary test plans as VzW/ATT/TMO/Dish; 5 years' experience in non-signaling and signaling measurement techniques; and 5 years' experience working with wireless device testers and systems for Carrier acceptance testing, Conformance test systems 3GPP/CTIA, Wireless Device Testing Software, Wireless tester - network emulator, Wireless tester - RF analyzer/generator. Employee will be required to travel 20% of the time on international and domestic trips that will last 1-2 weeks in duration. Remote work from anywhere in the U.S. is permitted. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
