<p>Overview:</p> <p>We are currently hiring Project Manager Assistants for long term, multi year contracts in Newport News, VA.</p> <p>Description:</p> <ul> <li>Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. </li><li>Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. </li><li>Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. </li><li>Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>US Citizenship. </li><li>BS Degree preferred. </li><li>3 years of relevant experience. </li><li>High Pace environment requiring ability to work on own to resolve issues to support ultimate creation of purchase requisitions. </li><li>Each day encounters unique challenges requiring problem solving skills with engineering, planning and program. </li><li>Experience in SAP a plus. </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Project Management. </li><li>Purchase Requisition creation and updating ECD's with vendors. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <ul> <li>3 openings available. </li><li>1st shift, Monday-Friday. </li><li>Pay Rate: $35-$40/hr based on experience. </li><li>Benefits. </li><li>Long term, multi year contract. </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract position based out of Newport News, VA.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
