This role functions in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment and ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality operations while leading employees performing physically demanding work in harsh conditions.</p> <p>Pay rate between $75,000 to $85,000.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Supervise and coordinate finishing operations and direct 15-20 hourly employees. </li><li>Ensure employees understand and follow verbal and written instructions and procedures. </li><li>Function effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, and high-pressure environment. </li><li>Examine materials at various stages of the finishing process. </li><li>Observe machinery and finishing operations for safety and efficiency. </li><li>Interpret specifications and customer requirements. </li><li>Adjust work procedures to improve productivity and quality. </li><li>Resolve production and personnel issues. </li><li>Maintain accurate time and production records. </li><li>Ensure production levels are met while maintaining safety standards. </li><li>Work closely with Maintenance and other Supervisors to ensure smooth operations. </li><li>Ensure completion of all required employee training, including JSAs, safety talks, and Pure Safety. </li><li>Conduct safety audits and enforce lockout/tagout procedures. </li><li>Discipline hourly employees in accordance with company policies. </li><li>Interpret and enforce safety regulations and company policies. </li><li>Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with applicable laws and organizational guidelines. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>The qualifications/position requirements identified below list the skill level, ability, and knowledge required to successfully perform the essential duties of the position.
