<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Position Purpose</p> <p>As a Supervisor in the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities department, you will play a key leadership role in supporting staff and ensuring high-quality care for individuals with intellectual disabilities. You will oversee daily operations, provide supervision and training, and foster a collaborative, person-centered environment that aligns with Pittsburgh Mercy's mission and values.</p> <p>What You Will Do</p> <ul> <li>Staff Supervision & Development: Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to direct care staff. Coordinate staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage. </li><li>Training & Compliance: Oversee onboarding and ongoing training to ensure staff meet regulatory and organizational standards. </li><li>Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring quality service delivery and adherence to policies. </li><li>Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with individuals served families, staff, and external partners. </li><li>Problem Solving & Conflict Resolution: Address concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely, professional manner. </li><li>Continuous Improvement: Participate in quality assurance initiatives and contribute to program development and innovation. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in human services field and at least 1 year of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual disabilities </li></ul> <p>OR</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in human services field and at least 3 years of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual disabilities </li></ul> <p>Additional Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills </li><li>Experience in staff supervision and training </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment </li><li>Valid Driver's License and access to transportation </li><li>Required clearances and pre-employment screenings </li></ul> <p>Position Highlights & Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Benefits Start Day 1 of Employment </li><li>Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance </li><li>403(b) Retirement Plan </li><li>Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays </li></ul> <p>About Pittsburgh Mercy</p> <p>Pittsburgh Mercy is a community-based health and human services organization that provides person-centered care to some of the region's most vulnerable populations.
