<p>Overview</p> <p>GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a Supervisor of Technology. This full-time, on-site position is based in Shillington, Pennsylvania, and offers a strategic leadership opportunity to drive our customers technology initiatives.</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>As a Supervisor of Technology, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of technology operations on behalf of GDC IT Solutions. This includes managing infrastructure, supporting instructional technology, ensuring cybersecurity, and aligning digital systems with the customer's goals. You will work closely as a liaison between local leadership and GDC's internal team to deliver secure, reliable, and forward-thinking technology solutions that support both student achievement and operational excellence.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead the development and execution of the organizations technology strategy.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee the implementation, integration, and maintenance of instructional and administrative systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of network infrastructure and data systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage IT budgets, procurement processes, and vendor relationships for cost-effective solutions.</p> </li><li> <p>Supervise and mentor the district's onsite technology team, fostering a culture of service and innovation.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Respond to technology-related emergencies, including after-hours support when needed.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Significant experience managing enterprise IT operations in a leadership capacity.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of K-12 instructional technology and infrastructure systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Expertise in cybersecurity, data protection, and enterprise networking.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships in a technical environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and support IT staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in education or public sector IT.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience</p> <ul> <li> <p>Virtualization technologies: Hyper-V, VMware.</p> </li><li> <p>Networking: Cisco Meraki infrastructure.</p> </li><li> <p>Mobile Device Management: Jamf Pro Suite (Pro, Connect, Protect).</p> </li><li> <p>Cloud platforms: Google Workspace for Education, Microsoft Office 365.</p> </li><li> <p>Server environments: Windows Server, Linux.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with content filtering and cybersecurity tools.</p> </li></ul> <p>What We Do:</p> <p>Working for GDC means you will be at the forefront of the technological world.
