Our physicians have a combined 80+ years of experience and all are board certified in Internal or Family Medicine.</p> <p>How you'll contribute</p> <p>The Medical Assistant works alongside Providers to assist in the treatment of patients. This role prepares and documents information for patient visits, including obtaining vital signs, medical history, and other pertinent clinical information. The position also performs routine clinic office functions such as paperwork, scheduling, phones, and insurance authorizations as needed.</p> <ul> <li>Assist MD/NP with direct patient care </li><li>Prepare exam rooms and equipment </li><li>Obtain and document patient medical history, vital signs, height, weight, etc. </li><li>Schedule appointments and procedures as ordered by the Provider </li><li>Process prescription refills as authorized </li><li>Obtain insurance pre-authorizations for testing and procedures </li></ul> <p>Why join us</p> <p>We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
