<p>The Knolls of Oxford, a continuing care retirement community, located in Oxford, OH is seeking Resident Care Partners (RCPS) to work in Assisted Living. We have a need for part-time (2 days per week) on 2nd shift (3p-11p) and 3rd shift (11p-7a). The starting pay for this position is $15.50 per hour. Plus, a $1 shift differential for shifts beginning at 3p & 11p. Current CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus but, FREE training for these certifications will be provided.</p> <p>The RCP's job is to assist residents with basic activities of daily living. This job is very rewarding and an excellent opportunity for those considering a career in healthcare. This position will require you to work every other weekend and some holidays.</p> <p>Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Assists residents with dental care, bathing, and nail care. </li><li>Assist residents with dressing/undressing as necessary. </li><li>Maintains bedding and puts extra covers in beds as requested. </li><li>Provides incontinence care as needed throughout the day and night. </li><li>Assists in transporting residents to/from appointments, activity and social functions, chapel, meals, etc. </li><li>Assists with transferring, moving, positioning residents into and out of beds, chairs, showers, wheelchairs, etc. </li><li>Assists residents to walk with or without self-help devices as instructed. </li><li>Document daily log of assistance </li><li>Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents. </li><li>Respect residents' confidentiality. </li><li>1 year of experience working as caregiver, resident aide, or PCA preferred. </li><li>Ensures that the nurse is notified in a timely manner of changes in resident condition, family and/or resident concerns, malfunctioning equipment, material shortages, and other pertinent observations. </li><li>Responds promptly to pendant alarms during scheduled hours.
