<p>Overview</p> <p>Element has an opportunity for an Associate Chemist, who will be primarily responsible for the preparation and testing of metallic samples for aerospace end use.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Operation of equipment like ICP, Leco C/S, XRF, Optical Emission </li><li>Prepare the reagents, standard solution and ensure standardization of the solution used in the laboratory </li><li>Perform sample preparation and metallurgical evaluations as required </li><li>Performance of qualitative and quantitative laboratory tests and analysis of other substances as per standard method </li><li>Working to all HSE standards </li></ul> <p>Skills / Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or similar experience </li><li>Minimum 2 years experience in similar role </li><li>Have the ability to work in teams under pressure and flexible to work different working hours (night / day) shifts if required or necessary </li><li>Must be a US Person (citizen, green card holder, registered alien) </li></ul> <p>Company Overview</p> <p>Element is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
