<p>PRIMARY PURPOSE:</p> <p>As a PC Technician III, you will be responsible for troubleshooting intermediate-level hardware and software.</p> <p>Position Status: Full-Time Hourly</p> <p>Location: Gold Strike Casino - Tunica, MS</p> <p>PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Install, upgrade, and repair desktop systems. </li><li>Add user workstations to the network and user applications to workstations. </li><li>Troubleshoot client issues and monitor the help desk queue. </li><li>Maintain all support of POS, printers, hardware, and assorted peripherals and perform preventative maintenance on all equipment. </li><li>Perform intermediate-level hardware/software troubleshooting. </li><li>Ensure the computer room is kept clean and orderly. </li><li>Perform other job-related duties as requested. </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Two (2) years of personal computer repair and installations. </li><li>Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. </li></ul> <p>CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Able to obtain Gaming Permit as required by jurisdiction </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms. </li><li>Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. </li><li>Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail. </li><li>Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills. </li><li>Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts. </li></ul> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Must be flexible if needed for occasional work outside of normal business hours. </li><li>This is not intended to include every duty or responsibility of the job nor is it intended to be an all-inclusive list of the skills and abilities required to do this job. </li></ul> <p>This position may require strenuous physical activities and exposure to pipe, cigar, and/or cigarette smoking.
