<p>Job Description</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>Registration Specialist - Sleep Lab (Onsite)</p> <p>Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM</p> <p>Location: Sleep Lab</p> <p>No weekends or holidays</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>The Sleep Lab is seeking a compassionate, organized, and customer-focused Registration Specialist to support our fast-paced clinical environment. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors-ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience from check-in to check-out. You will work closely with a dedicated team including registration specialists, medical assistants, nurses, providers, and leadership.</p> <p>If you enjoy helping others, are tech-savvy, and thrive in a collaborative environment, this is a great opportunity to grow in the healthcare field.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide professional and timely check-in and check-out for all patients </li><li>Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately </li><li>Accurately collect and enter patient demographic, financial, and medical information </li><li>Schedule patient appointments and coordinate flow with clinical team members </li><li>Explain department/hospital policies, charges, and payment requirements to patients </li><li>Validate and enter applicable charges into internal systems </li><li>Collect payments and assist with billing-related questions </li><li>Communicate with internal departments; send messages and updates as needed </li><li>Support positive patient experiences through empathy, accuracy, and efficiency </li></ul> <p>What You'll Work With</p> <p>You'll be part of a supportive team environment that includes:</p> <ul> <li>2 Registration Specialists </li><li>8 Medical Assistants </li><li>4 Nurses </li><li>Providers and department leadership </li><li>Patients and internal partners across multiple departments </li></ul> <p>Our Culture & Onboarding Experience</p> <p>We take pride in our strong morale and team-centered environment.
