Community Co-Designers will work collaboratively with program staff, service providers, and employer partners to ensure services are accessible, responsive, and grounded in lived experience.</p> <p>This role is part of a collaborative initiative designed to incorporate community-led input into program design, ensuring employment services effectively support individuals with disabilities in preparing for, obtaining, and retaining meaningful employment.</p> <p>Community Co-Designers will participate in meetings, workshops, and structured feedback sessions to share perspectives on accessibility, service usability, and program impact.</p> <ul> <li>Participate in co-design meetings, workshops, and feedback sessions to help shape program services. </li><li>Provide lived-experience insights on accessibility, service usability, and participant experience. </li><li>Contribute monthly "Fresh Ideas" to support continuous improvement and responsive program design. </li><li>Represent participant perspectives during design discussions with staff and employer partners. </li><li>Help define what "quality employment" means for individuals with disabilities. </li><li>Support the development of services that empower individuals with disabilities to prepare for, obtain, and retain meaningful employment. </li><li>Offer input on tools and strategies that help employers strengthen workplace inclusivity and accessibility. </li><li>Contribute to identifying and documenting effective practices in employment programs serving individuals with disabilities. </li><li>Participate in demonstrating how community-led co-design can be supported through City funding and integrated into public program design. </li><li>Participation in regular co-design sessions and workshops. </li><li>Engagement in periodic feedback activities and idea generation. </li><li>Attendance at orientation and onboarding sessions prior to program launch. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Lived experience as a participant in employment, workforce, or disability services programs (preferred). </li><li>Individuals with disabilities or those who support individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply. </li><li>Interest in improving employment opportunities and workplace accessibility. </li><li>Ability to participate in group discussions and share ideas constructively. </li><li>Commitment to representing community perspectives respectfully and collaboratively. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>This executive will be vital in expanding APM's footprint in government and commercial markets by winning high-quality contracts. Success in this role will be driven by strategic insight, operational excellence, and leadership in proposal management.</p> <p>This is an individual contributor role and does not have any direct reports. The Lead may from time to time be required to support work in other regions. Domestic and international travel of approximately 20-30% may be required.</p> <p>All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.</p> <p>Extensive standing, and sitting and continuous computer, phone, and deskwork required. Work will be primarily in a defined office environment with specified hours. Will require one on one and group interaction with individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds.
