To learn more about our purpose, culture, and priorities, visit our strategy site.</p> <p>Within our consult business we harness our unique combination of leading-edge practical expertise and project delivery?consultancy to unlock the potential in every project.</p> <p>The Project:</p> <p>Mace, as part of MPA delivery partner joint venture of Mace-Parsons-Arcadis, have been selected as the Gateway Development Commissions partners of choice to support the GDC across the Gateway Program in New York, inclusive of the Hudson Tunnel Project.</p> <p>The busiest rail connection between New York, New Jersey, and the Northeast Corridor, the Hudson Tunnel Project will improve capacity, reliability, and resiliency of commuter and intercity rail transit serving 800,000 daily passengers from Washington, D.C. to New York and New England. A milestone project supported by the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), the project is slated to receive nearly $12 billion in federal funding, the largest investment in a mass transit project in modern history.</p> <p>Our values shape the way we consult, and define the people we want to join us on our journey, they are:</p> <ul> <li>Safety First - Going Home Safe and Well. </li><li>Client Focus - Deliver on Our Promise. </li><li>Integrity - Always Do the Right Thing. </li><li>Create Opportunity - For Our People to Excel. </li></ul> <p>You'll be responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>Managing node-level project teams through risk management processes and maintain risk register(s). </li><li>Develop and maintain a risk management plan within client, mPa JV and Mace governance. </li><li>Coordinate and communicate with project management leadership across the project organization (node-level project teams and node-support teams). </li><li>Identify and evaluate risks related to compliance requirements, program/project processes and procedures, and governance. </li><li>Identify and assess risks, particularly those related to scope, schedule, costs, resources, and quality. </li><li>Assess risk throughout project phases (design, construction/commissioning, and verification). </li><li>Assess risks and any impact on project status and forecasts. </li><li>Recommend treatments to manage risks to achieve project objectives. </li><li>Communicate risk assessments and risk response measures to the PM director. </li><li>Provide assessment and recommendations related to the completion and transition of project phases. </li></ul> <p>Ideally you will have:</p> <ul> <li>Candidates should have a degree qualification or equivalent in an appropriate engineering or finance discipline. </li><li>Expert knowledge of risk management principles and methods, including qualitative and quantitative assessment methods. </li><li>Knowledge of the engineering, procurement and construction cycle and understanding of construction sequencing, means, and methods. </li><li>Responsive to changing demands. </li><li>Strong leadership skills. </li><li>Tunneling experience. </li><li>Experience in Federal Transit Agency projects. </li><li>Familiarity with transit agencies (Such as PANYNJ, NJT, MTA, LIRR, Amtrak). </li><li>Experience in delivery in programs or portfolios of significant value >$1bn is a significant advantage. </li></ul> <p>The estimated starting salary for this position is $180,000 - $220,000.
