<p>Job Title: Converting Operator - Tier One</p> <p>Schedule: Sunday-Thursday from 10:00pm-6:15am</p> <p>Location: Elkhorn, WI</p> <p>GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB</p> <p>Responsible for safe & efficient operation of assigned converting machine(s), while ensuring product adheres to our quality policy.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Work safely. </li><li>Conduct physical/ visual inspection of product to prevent non-conforming goods and minimize waste. </li><li>Meet or exceed production performance standards. </li><li>Perform housekeeping. </li><li>Conduct quality audits. </li><li>Record quality defects. </li><li>Read/ interpret documents, work instructions, and templates. </li><li>Pack and palletize goods to be shipped. </li><li>Maintain production supplies/ materials as required to ensure minimal machine downtime. </li><li>Communicate with outgoing/ incoming shift to ensure a successful shift handoff. </li><li>Record production data in machine computer promptly and accurately. </li><li>Dispose product scrap into appropriate film-type gaylord. </li><li>Create labels. </li><li>Actively participate in 5s program. </li><li>Calculate production numbers. </li><li>Actively assists fellow coworkers when able. </li><li>Demonstrate proficiencies in running all converting machines. </li><li>Carry out other job-related duties assigned. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>Ability and willingness to multi-tasking in a fast-paced factory environment. </li><li>Basic computer and math skills. </li><li>Can lift, push, or pull objects as needed </li><li>Can bend, twist, and stoop. </li><li>Reliable mode of transportation. </li><li>Can work necessary overtime to meet customer demands. </li><li>Able to work on foot for extended periods of time. </li><li>Dependable and works well with others. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred. </li><li>Three years of work history preferred. </li></ul> <p>#AMB1</p>
