<p>Position Description</p> <p>We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional programs that are critical to organizational transformation, including enterprise platforms, data initiatives, and infrastructure modernization. This role requires a strategic thinker who can operate at both the executive and delivery levels-driving alignment, managing risk, and ensuring high-quality outcomes across projects and programs</p> <p>The ideal candidate brings strong project and program management discipline, technical fluency, and the ability to influence stakeholders in a highly matrixed, research-driven environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Program & Project Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Lead multi-year, multi-phase programs across technology and business domains (e.g., ERP, ServiceNow, cloud, data platforms) </li><li>Develop and manage integrated program plans, roadmaps, and cross-workstream dependencies </li><li>Establish and drive program governance, cadence, and reporting across multiple project workstreams </li><li>Define success metrics and use data-driven insights to track performance, risks, and outcomes </li></ul> <p>Planning & Execution</p> <ul> <li>Build comprehensive project plans from initiation through deployment and hypercare </li><li>Apply hybrid delivery models (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum) based on program needs </li><li>Drive disciplined execution across the full SDLC, including discovery, design, development, testing, and deployment </li><li>Ensure alignment between business requirements, technical delivery, and strategic objectives </li></ul> <p>Stakeholder & Executive Engagement</p> <ul> <li>Communicate program status, risks, and decisions clearly to executive leadership and steering committees </li><li>Facilitate decision-making in complex or ambiguous environments </li><li>Build strong relationships across business, technical, and research stakeholders </li><li>Influence without authority to drive alignment and outcomes in a matrixed organization </li></ul> <p>Business Analysis & Solution Alignment</p> <ul> <li>Partner with stakeholders to define and refine business requirements in complex or evolving environments </li><li>Ensure traceability from requirements through delivery and validation </li><li>Support business case development and value realization tracking </li></ul> <p>Financial & Vendor Management</p> <ul> <li>Manage program budgets, forecasts, and resource plans (including internal and external labor) </li><li>Develop and manage vendor relationships, including SOWs, deliverables, and performance tracking </li><li>Drive accountability for financial performance, including CapEx/OpEx considerations and forecasting accuracy </li></ul> <p>Risk, Issue & Change Management</p> <ul> <li>Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program-level risks and dependencies </li><li>Lead issue resolution and escalation, particularly in high-pressure or ambiguous situations </li><li>Drive organizational change management and user adoption for major initiatives </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Program & Delivery Expertise</p> <ul> <li>8+ years of experience managing complex IT and business transformation programs </li><li>Proven experience delivering large-scale initiatives such as ERP implementations, ServiceNow deployments, cloud transformations (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS), or DevSecOps initiatives </li><li>Strong command of project and program management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile/Scrum, hybrid approaches) </li></ul> <p>Technical & SDLC Fluency</p> <ul> <li>Solid understanding of application development, system architecture, integrations, and infrastructure (cloud/on-prem/hybrid) </li><li>Hands-on experience managing full SDLC delivery across multiple projects </li></ul> <p>Business & Financial Acumen</p> <ul> <li>Experience managing program budgets, forecasting, variances and estimates to completion </li><li>Ability to develop business cases and align delivery to measurable outcomes that capture value delivery </li></ul> <p>Leadership & Influence</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment </li><li>Strong negotiation and influencing skills without direct authority </li><li>Experience facilitating executive-level discussions and driving decisions </li></ul> <p>Problem Solving & Resilience</p> <ul> <li>Proven ability to lead through ambiguity, manage crises, and drive resolution under pressure </li><li>Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>PMP Certification </li><li>Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification </li><li>ITIL Foundation certification </li><li>Experience with ServiceNow implementation </li><li>Experience contributing to or improving project management methodologies and governance frameworks </li><li>Formal training and application of organizational change management models (PROSCI's ADKAR) </li></ul> <p>Tools & Technologies</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, ServiceNow, MS Teams) </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field required </li><li>Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Hiring Range: $95,700- $126,700</p> <p>Disclaimer:
