<p>We are hiring phlebotomist (First Shift)!!</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform 25-30 blood draws per shift using venipuncture techniques, including straight needles and butterfly needles, for patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric. </li><li>Collect and store blood and other specimens, such as urine and fecal samples, according to established procedures and test requirements. </li><li>Explain venipuncture, blood draw, and specimen collection procedures to patients in a clear, courteous, and professional manner. </li><li>Fully understand and interpret physicians' orders and accurately match laboratory requisition forms or computer-generated labels to specimen tubes. </li><li>Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by specific test orders to maintain specimen integrity. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced laboratory or hospital setting. </li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience as a phlebotomist. </li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in venipuncture using straight needles. </li><li>Experience performing adult blood draws. </li><li>Ability to perform 25-30 blood draws per shift. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The schedule runs from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with every other Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.]</p> <p>INTERESTED IN THIS ROLE?
