Be a part of our team of healthcare heroes and discover why Catholic Health was named Long Island's Top Workplace</p> <p>Job Details</p> <p>The Equipment & Supply Technician position has a critical function in ensuring that the daily turn-in and out of the EMS crews are highly efficient. The employees in this position are to perform the following:</p> <ul> <li>Assign vehicles and equipment as per the crewscheduler schedule </li><li>Be available for all outgoing and incoming crews during the shift </li><li>Distribute proper equipment to crews and have them sign off upon receipt </li><li>Collect proper equipment from crews and have them sign off upon return </li><li>Plug in all rechargeable equipment </li><li>Prep all equipment for re-distribution </li><li>Perform equipment inventory daily </li><li>Any equipment that is out-of-service (OOS) must be checked and tagged for testing/repair </li><li>Advise the management team of any OOS equipment </li><li>Ensure all equipment is updated in the crewscheduler daily schedule worksheet </li><li>Perform supply inventory daily </li><li>Restock supplies based on inventory requirements </li><li>Supply inventory should not dwindle to below par levels </li><li>Advise the management team when supplies are needed </li><li>Manage the appropriate parking and securing of the vehicles </li><li>Fill vehicles with fuel </li><li>Perform a NYS Part 800 check on ambulances </li><li>Seal equipment cabinets in the ambulances </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li><li>Properly operate the phone and/or other communications systems provided by the company </li><li>Properly operate the computer system and the software suites provided by the company </li><li>Speak to clients, customers, and colleagues in a professional manner </li><li>Inspect Vehicles for condition, equipment, and fuel upon return </li><li>Check crew appearance upon clocking in </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>HS Diploma or GED Equivalent required </li><li>Possess a valid NYS driver's license </li><li>Valid NYS EMT-B Certification is preferred </li></ul> <p>Salary Range</p> <p>USD $24.00 - USD $29.43 /Hr.</p> <p>This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and position location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.</p> <p>At Catholic Health, we believe in a people-first approach.
