<p>Job Description:</p> <p>GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:</p> <p>This position is responsible for coordinating field placement processes for undergraduate and graduate educator licensure programs and supporting candidates, faculty, and school partners throughout the placement cycle.</p> <p>SUPERVISION RECEIVED:</p> <p>Director of Field Placement & Licensure</p> <p>SUPERVISION EXERCISED:</p> <p>N/A</p> <p>EXAMPLES OF SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Support the coordination and administration of field placements for undergraduate and graduate educator licensure programs </li><li>Establish, develop, and maintain partnerships with local school districts and community stakeholders </li><li>Distribute and review field experience applications to determine eligibility; conduct final eligibility verification prior to each semester </li><li>Develop and assign field placements in alignment with licensure requirements, candidate preferences, and program data </li><li>Prepare and disseminate placement assignments to partner schools and districts </li><li>Communicate placement details clearly and consistently to all relevant stakeholders, including candidates, school partners, faculty, and staff </li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date field placement records, databases, and related documentation </li><li>Provide candidates with placement information and ensure compliance with all background check and clearance requirements </li><li>Plan and facilitate orientation sessions for teacher candidates regarding field experiences and expectations </li><li>Prepare and distribute certificates and vouchers for supervising practitioners </li><li>Draft and distribute recognition letters to partner schools and districts </li><li>Share placement and enrollment information with faculty and administrative staff to support course registration and program planning </li></ul> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS:</p> <p>Office Setting</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in education or related field </li><li>Strong attention to detail </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative academic environment </li><li>Three or more years working in a public school </li><li>One or more years supervising candidate practicums as Program Supervisor or Supervising Practitioner </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to equal opportunity, equity, and inclusion. </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with field experience placement </li><li>Knowledge of DESE licensure requirements </li><li>Candidates who are bilingual in English and Spanish or English and Portuguese are strongly encouraged to apply. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>This is a part-time, non-benefited contract position, not to exceed 18 hours per week. The scheduled hours are flexible.
