<p>About the Team</p> <p>In Product Design, we drive and manage sample development from concept through to production, working hand-in-hand with Design, Technical Design, Merchants, and Sourcing team members.</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>As a Nursery & Seasonal Textiles Designer, you will support the development of new product lines across seasonal launches, ensuring designs reflect current trends, brand aesthetic, and business objectives. You will actively participate in product development meetings and serve as a key communicator between cross-functional partners, including agents, merchants, sourcing, and color teams. In collaboration with Senior Management, you will help ensure all deadlines and critical calendar milestones are met.</p> <p>Beyond design execution, you will partner closely with the Director and Head Design Manager to support team collaboration, workflow efficiency, and overall project alignment.</p> <p>The ideal candidate brings a strong design aesthetic, relevant experience in textile or product design, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. A passion for product development, combined with a hands-on approach to physical presentation and sample setup, is essential for success in this role.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Create new designs for textile products designs for all baby bedding and seasonal product lines (stockings, advent calendars, and other seasonal décor).</p> </li><li> <p>Produce renderings in Photoshop for visual presentations and refine design concepts.</p> </li><li> <p>Translate design briefs into market-ready textile patterns and products.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare presentation boards, physical samples, and display materials for Concept Presentations.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate closely with product development, production, and sourcing teams to ensure design intent is maintained through to final product.</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with overseas merchants and vendors to develop product with key deadlines top of mind and ensuring all samples are deliver for key presentations.</p> </li><li> <p>Design and develop specs and concept boards while managing concept all the way through product approval</p> </li><li> <p>Proactively support calendar to recognize milestones and key dates</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct trend and material research to stay ahead in the market and suggest innovative design directions.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with physically setting up for executive presentations</p> </li><li> <p>Identify opportunities for innovation in techniques and products</p> </li><li> <p>Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator a must.</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum 4 years retail product design experience</p> </li><li> <p>Strong eye for color, texture, and pattern.</p> </li><li> <p>Comfortable with hands-on work, including physical display or showroom setup.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.</p> </li><li> <p>Must provide a portfolio or website of current and past experience</p> </li><li> <p>Degree in Design or equivalent experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience designing (category specific product); keeping materials and pricing in mind.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in identifying and contributing trends and inspiration based on the given concept direction.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have an aspirational taste-level with passion for interiors, home furnishings, color, designer aesthetic, and industry trends.</p> </li><li> <p>(A plus) Domestic and overseas experience collaborating with factories, understanding price adjustment to reflect brand aesthetic</p> </li><li> <p>(A plus) Knowledge of constructions</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working in Textiles/ home/ fashion design or similar field.</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding and enthusiasm for the brand</p> </li></ul> <p>Criteria</p> <ul> <li>This role requires being onsite in the San Francisco office </li></ul> <p>Nice to Have:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Previous experience in Kids home or kids fashion design</p> </li><li> <p>Prior experience preparing presentations for retailers or buyers.</p> </li><li> <p>Domestic and overseas experience collaborating with factories, understanding price adjustment to reflect brand aesthetic</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of constructions.</p> </li></ul> <p>Our Culture & Values</p> <p>We believe that taking care of our people is vital to our success and we strive to offer equitable and transparent practices for all. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
