This role drives strategic data initiatives, collaborates across cross-functional teams (e.g., Business Operations, Brand, Value & Access, Field Commercial), and delivers actionable insights that support execution excellence. The ideal candidate brings analytical rigor, business acumen, and a collaborative mindset to elevate the impact of the field force.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Identify Stakeholder Needs: Proactively assess stakeholder needs related to training and field performance. Partner with the Training team to shape and implement the Oncology Field Training plan, and collaborate with the Sales team to align insights with field execution priorities.</p> </li><li> <p>Define Executional Standards: Define executional standards with Field Leadership and deliver routine monitoring of Field teams through surveys and quizzes. Develop specific metrics or KPIs to measure field effectiveness.</p> </li><li> <p>Claims Data Utilization: Leverage medical and pharmacy claims data to generate insights into market dynamics, HCP behavior, and patient journeys. Translate these insights into targeted opportunities to enhance field engagement and commercial strategy.</p> </li><li> <p>Field Alert Systems: Develop and maintain automated alert systems using data triggers (e.g., changes in prescribing behavior, patient volume shifts, access disruptions) to notify field teams in real-time and drive timely execution.</p> </li><li> <p>Field Reporting: Deliver regular and ad-hoc reports on field performance to Field Leadership, incorporating key execution metrics and actionable insights.</p> </li><li> <p>Cross-BU Collaboration: Coordinate with Field Operations leads from Rare and Neuro business units to share best practices and identify cross-unit innovation opportunities.</p> </li><li> <p>Insights Sharing & Enablement: Facilitate the sharing of actionable insights with Brand, Medical, and other key partners to optimize field execution and drive alignment on strategy.</p> </li><li> <p>Brand & Tactical Alignment: Collaborate with Brand Teams to define annual proficiency requirements (disease, product, competitive landscape) for the Field team. Contribute to tactical planning to support brand objectives.</p> </li><li> <p>Contracting & Channel Strategy Training: Partner with the Value & Access team to ensure field teams are equipped with knowledge on payer, access, and contracting strategies that support business goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Resource Planning: Assist in managing resources (budget, personnel, tools) dedicated to field training and performance enhancement.</p> </li><li> <p>Change Management: Support implementation of new training programs and field standards through effective change management practices to ensure adoption and impact.</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MS) preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>3+ years of experience in commercial operations, analytics, training, or field effectiveness, preferably within oncology or pharmaceutical/biotech sectors.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong experience analyzing and interpreting claims data, field force data, or other healthcare datasets.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven ability to deliver insights that influence field strategies and execution.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working cross-functionally with Commercial, Training, Sales, and Value & Access teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with Salesforce, Veeva, Tableau, Power BI, or similar CRM/data visualization tools.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation development and delivery.</p> </li></ul> <p>Core Competencies:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Analytical Thinking: Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights that drive business outcomes.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaboration & Influence: Strong interpersonal skills to work across functions and influence without direct authority.</p> </li><li> <p>Strategic Mindset: Thinks beyond immediate tasks to align with broader business goals and field strategies.</p> </li><li> <p>Execution Excellence: Focus on delivering high-quality outputs with precision and consistency.</p> </li><li> <p>Business Acumen: Understands the dynamics of oncology markets, competitive landscapes, and field operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Agility & Adaptability: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adjusting strategies in a dynamic environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Innovation Orientation: Seeks out new approaches and tools to enhance performance and effectiveness.</p> </li></ul> <p>The annual base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $135,000.</p> <p>This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentives program.</p> <p>At Ipsen we are proud to offer a comprehensive employee benefits package, including 401(k) with company contributions, group medical, dental and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, as well as flexible spending accounts.
