Visit http://www.kpm-usa.com/ for more information on Kawasaki Precision's hydraulics product line.</p> <p>With a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy, this position performs assigned warehouse duties including, but not limited to, stock control, order picking, packing, shipping, and housekeeping.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Accept deliveries, being sure to verify piece count against bill of lading, inspect for damage and sign for shipment. </li><li>Re-Package items for added protection during shipping. </li><li>Store received material, re-organizing stock as necessary. </li><li>Inspect stock to verify the location contains the correct item number; it is in re-saleable condition, and adequately packed. </li><li>Select items using industrial truck or by hand to fill customer orders. </li><li>Determine packaging requirements and pack items accordingly for shipment. </li><li>Load packages into carrier vehicles. </li><li>Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized work area. </li><li>Continuously reviews processes to ensure operations are meeting measurable. </li><li>Works with supervisor in scheduling all labor to meet customer satisfaction. </li><li>Implementation of ISO, and 5S procedures. </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma is required.</p> </li><li> <p>4+ years related experience in a warehouse environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Extensive experience with fork trucks and warehouse equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Hilo Certification.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Outlook</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of shipping procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Able to communicate with customers and departments in a calm manor, understand things are ever changing, able to communicate shipment changes, handle stress, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Thrive in a past paced/team environment.</p> </li></ul>
