BHE GT&S has an exciting opportunity as a Corrosion Technician/Sr. Corrosion Tech at our Luthersburg Transmission in Luthersburg, PA.</p> <p>One (1) year of technical experience required. Technical is defined as aviation maintenance, diesel, natural gas, compression, instrumentation, controls, electrical, electro-mechanical or corrosion.</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of corrosion control and electrical principles. </li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills </li><li>Knowledge of DOT regulations related to corrosion, and record keeping. </li><li>Ability to use and maintain corrosion testing, cathodic protection equipment, and line locating equipment. </li><li>Ability to define problems, collect data, document findings and draw valid conclusions. </li><li>Ability to work independently. </li><li>Ability to interpret technical manuals, maps, specifications, plans, and wiring diagrams pertaining to corrosion control. </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively, speak persuasively and develop rapport. </li><li>Ability to operate personal computer and utilize software packages. </li><li>Ability to work effectively in inclement weather conditions.
