We're looking for a hands-on leader who can do a little bit of everything - and do it with heart. As the Director of Communications and Community Engagement, you'll be the voice of our district and the bridge between our schools and the community we serve. In this role, you won't just manage messaging - you'll lead meaningful conversations and build lasting relationships. You'll craft clear, timely, and compelling communications that build trust and inspire action, while also driving community engagement efforts that connect families, partners, and stakeholders to the heart of our schools. Whether you're celebrating student and staff successes, organizing public forums, or guiding the district through challenging moments, you'll be out front - bringing people together and ensuring every voice has a place in the future we are building together.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. </li><li>Minimum 5 years of professional experience in public relations, preferably in a school or public agency. </li><li>Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills. </li><li>Demonstrated success with social media strategy, brand management, and community relations. </li><li>Proficiency in content management systems, graphic design software, and digital marketing tools. </li><li>Crisis communication and media relations expertise. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Regular attendance at evening events and Board meetings is required. </li><li>Must be available outside of standard work hours for emergencies or urgent communications. </li><li>Serves on the district's crisis response and safety teams. </li><li>260 Day Calendar wtih Fringe Benefits </li></ul> <p>Application Procedure: Apply online at the Greater Cincinnati School Application Consortium</p> <p>Selection Procedure:</p> <ul> <li>Administration will review all applicants who have completed an on-line application through the Greater Cincinnati School Application Consortium. </li></ul> <p>Applicants that are offered positions shall be required to submit to an FBI/BCII criminal background check.
