<p>As a Customer Service Representative, you are a key level of support for our valued grocery store, food processor and distributor customers. A large portion of your day will be spent answering customer inquiries and entering & processing orders (50-100 daily) via the AS400 system. In addition to order support, you will investigate customer problems and/or complaints to successful resolution. To be most successful in this investigative work, you will need to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.</p> <p>This role will be M-F in our St. Louis, Mo (Creve Coeur) office. You will be assigned a consistent shift between 7AM and 6PM. There may be some flexibly to work from home 1-2 days/month.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Handle a variety of in-bound calls to determine the appropriate course of action </li><li>Ensure delivery of excellent customer services through fast and accurate processing of orders </li><li>Provide pricing and delivery information and processes orders </li><li>Communicate and coordinate with other departments to resolve inquiries </li><li>Serve as a liaison between customers and the sales department </li><li>Make out-bound calls as needed to keep clients updated regarding promotions, new products, and attempt to secure new orders </li><li>Assist customers in the selection of products according to their needs/requirements </li><li>Utilize computer systems to assist with pricing, availability and alternate product selection </li><li>Receive orders and resolves pricing situations encountered during customer transactions using current sales policies </li><li>Assist in resolving shipping discrepancies and errors. This includes obtaining proof of deliveries from the freight carrier and pulling necessary internal documents. Submit credit requests </li><li>Enter sample orders, and follow up with the customer regarding the performance of the sample and obtain an order (if possible) </li><li>Learn about our WLS system and help in data entry and some inventory control functions </li><li></li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>Excellent communication skills and proactive problem-solving abilities </li><li>Multi-task oriented </li><li>Customer centric attitude </li><li>Minimum 3 years customer service experience preferred </li><li>College Degree preferred </li><li>Strong user level computer skills in a MS Windows environment : Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word & TEAMs </li><li>Familiarity AS400 preferred </li></ul> <p>So, what are you waiting for?
