This position is customer service centric, being the first line of departmental contact for all patrons entering and using Half Acre Gym. This position manages sales, answers questions - in-person and via phone, as well as monitors and enforces facility access.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Greet and welcome every person that enters Half Acre Gymnasium </li><li>Process daily sales made with credit cards, cash, and check </li><li>Oversee facility access to ensure only allowable people are allowed to use the gym </li><li>Manage the front desk phone and be able to answer and/or direct calls throughout the gym </li><li>Track and manage lost-and-found items </li><li>Help open and close the front desk station of the gym </li><li>Answer questions and direct patrons to resources and departments as able </li></ul> <p>Scheduling Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to begin working in August 2025 </li><li>Ability to work 2-3 weekend shifts per month </li><li>Able to work for at least two full semesters </li></ul> <p>SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Additional projects as assigned </li></ul> <p>COMPETENCIES:</p> <ul> <li>Customer Service </li><li>Communication </li><li>Teamwork </li><li>Problem Solving </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Current UWYO Student</p> <p>Must be eligible, have received and accepted work study award through Student Financial Aid for the applicable semester and/or academic year.</p> <p>DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Previous Customer Service Experience </li><li>Previous Point of Sale Experience </li></ul> <p>EDUCATIONAL BENEFITS APPLICABLE TO CAREERS:</p> <ul> <li>Experience working independently and with a team </li><li>Customer Service Skill enhancement </li><li>Learning business practices related to Point of Sale </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED APPLICATION MATERIALS:</p> <p>Complete the online application.
