<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Day Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Come help lead our Patient Access team at Mercy Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Of New England!</p> <p>Position Purpose</p> <p>Team leader is responsible for pre-registration, registration and admission functions. This team lead position will be responsible to ensure a smooth workflow for the registration team. They will be responsible for monitoring copayments, productivity and cover open shifts as needed. This person works closely with other Department Leadership.</p> <p>What you will do</p> <ul> <li> <p>Greet patients at specific service areas and checks a pre-registered patient into the registration system by elevating the patient visit in the system, verifying demographic information, and collecting patient liability.</p> </li><li> <p>Collect, process and reconcile patient liability when indicated by following department procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>If the patient has not been pre-registered, complete patient registration process following department procedures using identified technology systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for working with multiple department/hospital and web-based systems</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum High School diploma or equivalent</p> </li><li> <p>Patient access hospital experience strongly preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurances</p> </li></ul> <p>Position Highlights and Benefits</p> <ul> <li> <p>40 Hours per Week - 1st shift (Days)</p> </li><li> <p>Our Mission and Core Values</p> </li><li> <p>Great Benefits and Health Insurance Coverage - Starting Day 1</p> </li></ul> <p>Ministry/Facility Information</p> <p>Trinity Health Of New England is an integrated health care delivery system that is comprised of world-class providers and facilities dedicated to full spectrum preventative, acute, and post-acute care.
