<p>TO: ALL TEACHING AND ADMINISTRATIVE PERSONNEL BROCKTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS</p> <p>FROM:Dr. Kathleen F. Moran Assistant Superintendent</p> <p>SUBJECT: House Manager for Community Schools Basketball</p> <p>Contingent upon funding, A House manager is required to supervise during the Brockton Community School Basketball games on Saturdays and some Sundays at Community School Basketball Sites.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in supervising children ranging from kindergarten to grade 8. </li><li>Familiarity with Community School procedures </li><li>Familiarity with gym equipment, facilities, and procedures. </li><li>Experience with basketball rules and regulations. Major Duties and Responsibilities: </li><li>Ensure that all participants and spectators adhere to the regulations governing use of facilities. </li><li>Coordinate access to authorized areas. </li><li>Be responsible for the building's safety and be prepared to enforce Brockton Public Schools' policies. </li><li>Set up the gymnasium for the scheduled games and maintain the scheduled starting times for all games. </li><li>Oversee the personnel working the scorer's table. </li><li>Saturday's (certain Sunday's) from November to March between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. </li><li>Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Coordinator of Recreation Programs and the Director of the Community Schools of Brockton </li><li>Ensure that coaches, players, and parents adhere to the BCB Code of Conduct. </li><li>The position will be available contingent upon enrollment. </li></ul> <p>Compensation: According to the Contract</p> <p>Funding Source: 20E, Community Schools</p> <p>For additional information contact Matt Campbell, Coordinator of Recreation Programs. 508-580-7595</p>
