<p>Posted: May 29, 2025 | Location: Springfield, MA</p> <p>Division: Residential Services | Deadline: Open</p> <p>Northeast Center for Youth & Families, Inc. is hiring for a full-time Assistant Program Director for their latency-age group home. This person will be responsible for the effective day-to-day functioning of the residential group home.</p> <p>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Provide individual supervision to Residential Supervisors and Lead Residential Counselors. </li><li>Hire, train, evaluate and supervise residential supervisors and staff. </li><li>Participate in implementing and monitoring treatment plans; obtain feedback regarding plan effectiveness, compile information, data and present at appropriate meetings with suggestions when indicated. </li><li>Works in collaboration with Program Nurse to assist with medical care, scheduling medical appointment, ensuring transportation is scheduled and all required documentation is completed. </li><li>Works in collaboration with Program Director and clinical team regarding, coordinating treatment planning meetings and scheduling family visits; including ensuring that transportation is set up. </li><li>Provide On-call coverage as determined by Program Director. </li><li>Coordinate staff schedules so that minimum staff-to-client ratios are maintained at all times. </li><li>Perform other similar duties as assigned or requested by supervisor. </li></ul> <p>Requirements include the following:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent direct experience of at least five years. </li><li>At least 2 years of supervisory experience. </li><li>Broad knowledge of non-profit administration and child protective systems. </li><li>Reliable transportation. </li><li>Approved CORI, DCF, and driving background checks required. </li><li>Knowledge of state regulations pertaining to restraints and holds. </li><li>Must be at least 21 years old. </li></ul> <p>NCYF offers excellent benefits!
