<p>The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for extra-large high-priority strategic projects and programs that focus on achieving business results. The Senior Project Manager work is highly independent. The Senior Project Manager is a specialist on complex technical and business matters and is responsible for the coordinated management of programs directed toward a common objective</p> <p>This position is available onsite at our Glenmont, NY and Springfield, MO locations.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Lead areas of the Project Management Office as assigned. </li><li>Lead strategic management and innovation processes to objectively organize facts, define problems, analyze alternatives, and plan action items. </li><li>Develop objectives and action plans for putting strategies in place. </li><li>Develop evaluation and control mechanisms for assessing strategy performance results. </li><li>Partner with the business sponsor and key stakeholders to facilitate the development of the project charter for extra-large high-priority strategic projects. </li><li>Partner with operational leaders to facilitate the development of the project plan. </li><li>Manage project execution to ensure project objectives are achieved. </li><li>Manage changes to project to ensure deliverables remain aligned with project goals. </li><li>Position project team for success by ensuring risks are mitigated and issues are resolved in a timely manner. </li><li>Manage project close-out to ensure all project items are complete. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree. </li><li>Six to eight years of project management experience. </li><li>Additional Qualifications: </li><li>Must have strong communication, organization, and relationship skills. </li><li>Must have strategic management skills. </li></ul> <p>Nice to Have:</p> <ul> <li></li><li>Project Management Professional certification preferred. </li><li>Must have an understanding of Scrum or Agile. </li><li>Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification </li></ul>
