<p>Assistant Store Manager</p> <p>POSITION DESCRIPTION AND KEY MEASURES</p> <p>Department: Retail Operations</p> <p>Location: Store Location</p> <p>Report to: DM</p> <p>Number of direct reports:</p> <p>POSITION PURPOSE AND EXPECTATION:</p> <p>Assistant Store Manager Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Store Manager to help lead our retail team in delivering exceptional customer experiences while supporting daily operations and achieving business goals.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Leadership & Team Development</p> <ul> <li>Support Store Manager in training, coaching, and developing store associates </li><li>Foster effective communication across all team members </li><li>Lead by example in providing outstanding customer service </li><li>Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new team members </li></ul> <p>Sales & Operations</p> <ul> <li>Drive sales performance through team motivation and leadership </li><li>Execute operational procedures including opening/closing protocols </li><li>Manage inventory control and stockroom organization </li><li>Oversee accurate processing of shipments and merchandise flow </li><li>Monitor and maintain shrink prevention measures </li><li>Ensure store meets visual merchandising standards </li></ul> <p>Customer Experience</p> <ul> <li>Create an engaging shopping environment </li><li>Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently </li><li>Maintain store appearance and cleanliness </li><li>Lead team in delivering personalized service </li></ul> <p>Administrative Duties</p> <ul> <li>Support payroll management and scheduling </li><li>Maintain accurate financial records and reports </li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures </li><li>Assist with loss prevention initiatives </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>2+ years retail management experience </li><li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills </li><li>Demonstrated leadership capabilities </li><li>Passion for retail and fashion </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays </li><li>Physical ability to perform tasks like standing, lifting, and moving merchandise </li><li>Embody company values and culture </li><li>Maintain professional appearance and attitude </li><li>Act as a brand ambassador both in-store and in the community </li><li>Stay current with fashion trends and product knowledge </li></ul> <p>Brand Representative</p> <p>KEY MEASURES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES</p> <p>Key Performance Indicator</p> <p>Benchmark</p> <ul> <li>Cash Variance Reporting </li><li>Weekly on Friday's </li><li>Variance investigations </li><li>Any variance above $50.00 </li><li>Zendesk ticket response </li><li>Within 48 hours </li><li>Sales reconciliations </li><li>Day 3 of EOM week </li><li>Monthly Turnover reporting </li><li>By 7th of each month </li><li>Balance Sheet reconciliations </li><li>Day 10 of EOM week </li></ul>
