Together, we'll set a new standard for mortgage servicing.</p> <p>Come grow with us!</p> <p>The Opportunity: We are seeking a VP, Mortgage Servicing based in Michigan to join the DFCU Financial team.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <p>Servicing Tasks</p> <ul> <li>Manage loan servicing including payment posting, escrow insurance payments, escrow tax payments, annual escrow analysis, monthly mortgage insurance payments and biannual tax payments to cities and counties. </li><li>Resolve member inquiries and research problem loans. </li><li>Make decisions regarding exceptions to loan servicing policy. </li><li>Coordinate accounting settlement of member payments, general ledger settlement, insurance tracking and monthly regulatory reporting. </li><li>Oversee and coordinate the preparation of discharge of first mortgages. </li><li>Maintain, update, and test servicing system (DNA, Fiserv) and equipment to support operational efficiencies. </li></ul> <p>Policy & Implementation</p> <ul> <li>Interact with department management in organizing, planning and implementing department goals and strategic direction. </li><li>Develop and implement policies, procedures, and metrics to ensure efficient, compliant, and member focused loan servicing department. </li></ul> <p>Operations & Staff Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for servicing operations and staff management, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, performance evaluation and disciplinary actions. </li><li>Train servicing employees in related work area. </li><li>Work with members, employees, and vendors in person and over the phone. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need:</p> <ul> <li>Business degree, or related work experience. </li><li>Five years mortgage or servicing experience. </li><li>Five years supervisory experience. </li><li>Knowledge of Federal and State regulations related to servicing and investor guidelines for FNMA, FHLBI, and government loans. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills, including effective verbal and written communication. </li><li>Computer proficient. </li><li>Consistent positive, cooperative, self-motivated, courteous and professional attitude. </li></ul>
