Your training will take place during the 4:00 am -12:30 pm shift. M-F. Training may last up to 12 weeks. Once you have completed training, you will move to your regular work schedule of 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm, M - F.</p> <p>Training Schedule: 4:00 am - 12:30 pm, Monday - Friday</p> <p>Work Schedule (after training period): 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm, Monday - Friday</p> <p>What you'll do at Tosoh Quartz.</p> <ul> <li>Cut glass to the required lengths, cut in bevels, slots or other features, etch off layers to perfect glass and rinse item in acid bath between all steps. </li><li>Produce and inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications. </li><li>Work in accordance with process procedures, work order instructions, drawings, and other production documents. </li><li>Use sandpaper and other tools to cosmetically grind, buff and polish the parts. </li><li>Maintain equipment. Detect and correct minor machine malfunctions and perform daily and monthly machine maintenance as directed. </li><li>Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area. </li><li>Wear and use all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) properly and in accordance with manufacturer and OSHA regulations. </li></ul> <p>Important note: This position works with chemicals (including acid) for up to 20% of the shift. All employees must strictly follow all safety protocols and wear required safety gear at when working with chemicals.</p> <p>Who you are.</p> <p>Minimum requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Ability to accurately follow instructions. </li><li>Able to lift and extend with arms outstretched, up to 50 lbs. Tension is placed on pronating and supinating the wrist. </li><li>Aptitude for learning; blueprints, machine mathematics and precision measurement equipment. </li><li>Able to wear all required, Company-provided safety gear during your shift.
