<p>Duties</p> <p>Hinckley-Big Rock CUSD #429 is seeking a passionate, self-starting, motivated Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. Candidates must be knowledgeable in their field, flexible, organized and student-centered. Candidates must have strong communication skills, work well on a team and plan collaboratively with other teachers, related staff, and administration. Duties Include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Direct occupational therapy to students in a school-based environment. </li><li>Providing consultation to teachers and families regarding fine motor, visual motor, and sensory motor supports and accommodations. </li><li>Complete initial evaluations and re-evaluations for students with IEPs or Section 504 Plans. </li><li>Participate in Early Childhood Screenings and Evaluations. </li><li>Participate as a member of the Student Services Team supporting students through targeted intervention within the MTSS, 504, and/or IEP processes. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>The qualified individual holds at minimum a Master's Degree in occupational therapy, as well as the appropriate State of Illinois Occupational Therapist License.</p> <p>Salary/Benefits</p> <p>Regionally Competitive</p> <p>How to Apply</p> <p>Complete an online application: https://www.applitrack.com/dekalb/onlineapp/default.aspx</p> <p>For more information, contact Bonnie Osborne, Director of Student Services.
