<p>OVERVIEW:</p> <p>The Electrical Service Manager manages customer relationships in the service department, supervising service technicians and taking accountability for required profit goals.</p> <p>Compensation for this Role: $120,000 - $140,000 annually, depending on experience</p> <p>General Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintain open communication lines with all working relationships </li><li>Follow up to ensure items for which the job is accountable for are performed </li><li>Earn and maintains customer's trust </li><li>Uphold the core values of the organization </li><li>Work well with others to accomplish the mission of the organization and of the job </li></ul> <p>Specific Responsibilities</p> <p>Management</p> <ul> <li>Manage and direct the work performance of service technicians, project engineers, and service supervisors </li><li>Evaluate performance of Service Technicians </li><li>Make recommendations on hiring, disciplining, and terminating employees </li><li>Enforce the WO process is being implemented by all employees </li></ul> <p>Sales</p> <ul> <li>Manage the "Customer Relationship" as the primary customer contact </li><li>Work with assigned clients to meet their needs </li><li>Leverage existing customer relationships to generate sales and develop constant presence accounts </li></ul> <p>Operations</p> <ul> <li> <p>Monitor and enforce Encore Electric, Inc. safety policies</p> </li><li> <p>Uphold the Service Pledge</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure Energized Work is performed within Encore guidelines in coordination with the safety department</p> </li><li> <p>Determine manpower needs and moves manpower between projects communicating with fellow managers to ensure staffing levels are adequate and manpower is shared</p> </li><li> <p>Manage projects assigned</p> </li><li> <p>Purchase material for projects not normally found on a service van</p> </li><li> <p>Submittals</p> </li><li> <p>Regulatory awareness</p> </li><li> <p>Licensing</p> </li><li> <p>Permitting</p> </li><li> <p>Certified payroll</p> </li><li> <p>Project preplanning and prefabrication</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for turnover of project to technician assigned</p> </li><li> <p>Manage the "quality" of the projects and installations assigned</p> </li><li> <p>Manage tools and equipment including tools assigned to van and those drawn from company tool inventory</p> </li><li> <p>Perform the duties of manager on call when assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Training and Development</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the training and development of field and office operational staff </li><li>Partner with Encore University to ensure training programs exist to deliver the necessary technical and professional skills to support our clients </li></ul> <p>Financial</p> <ul> <li>Manage risk and commodity volatility in estimates and proposals </li><li>Understanding of cost-to-complete process and service financials, including: </li><li>Cash flow </li><li>Collections </li><li>Profitability of assigned projects </li><li>Timely billing of completed projects </li><li>Track individual service technician and work order performance </li><li>Understanding of cost structure </li><li>Direct cost </li><li>Indirect cost </li><li>Overhead </li></ul> <p>Other duties as may be assigned</p> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</p> <p>Knowledge of:</p> <ul> <li>The National Electrical Code </li><li>Encore Electric, Inc.'s preplanning and prefabrication methods </li><li>Problem solving </li><li>Tracking numbers and bits of data relevant to the work assignment </li></ul> <p>Skill in:</p> <ul> <li>Soft skills and high emotional intelligence </li><li>Microsoft Office 365 </li><li>Electrical Estimating </li><li>Establishing and levels </li><li>Using communication software </li><li>Business writing </li><li>Effective written and oral communication sufficient to be able to elicit and communicate information and achieve understanding </li><li>Organizing work to accomplish tasks </li><li>Prioritizing and reporting to meet job needs </li><li>Moving manpower </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Driving <li>High School Diploma or equivalent is required while a degree in related field is preferred. </li><li>5 years of progressive experience in a fast-paced office management business environment is preferred. </li><li>5-10 years of electrical service experience is highly preferred. </li><li>Journeyman Electrician's License is required. </li></ul> <p>Benefits of this Role:</p> <ul> <li>Encore
