<p>Job Title: Employee Relations Advisor</p> <p>Contract Type: FTC minimum of 6 months</p> <p>Location: Runcorn - Hybrid (4 days office / 1 day home after onboarding)</p> <p>Salary: Up to £34,000 (Pro Rata)</p> <p>Hours: Monday to Friday 09.00 - 17.15</p> <p>Are you passionate about people and ready to make a real impact in a fast-paced, high-volume environment? We're looking for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join our HR team on an interim basis and help shape a positive, supportive workplace culture.</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>As one of our ER Advisors, you'll be the go-to expert for all things employee relations-guiding and coaching managers through a wide range of cases, from conduct and capability to more complex organisational change. You'll play a key role in ensuring fair, timely, and risk-aware outcomes that align with both employment law and our internal policies.</p> <p>This is a hands-on, high-impact role where no two days are the same. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and love empowering others, we want to hear from you.</p> <p>What You'll Be Doing</p> <ul> <li>Acting as the first point of contact for ER matters across the business </li><li>Coaching and supporting managers to confidently handle ER cases </li><li>Tracking ER cases and identifying trends to drive continuous improvement </li><li>Supporting projects such as TUPE, restructures, and policy development </li><li>Enhancing ER capability across the organisation through tools and training </li></ul> <p>What You'll Get:</p> <ul> <li>Up to £34,000 (Pro Rata) </li><li>22 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays (Pro Rata) </li><li>Market leading employee discount programme across hundreds of retailers and services </li><li>Access to MediCash, allowing you to reclaim money on a wide range of medical services </li><li>Cutting-edge finance management app to control your salary as you see fit </li><li>Life assurance </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <p>Must-haves:</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in an ER advisory role (ideally in retail, distribution, or similar) </li><li>Strong knowledge of UK employment law </li><li>CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) </li><li>Confident communicator with excellent coaching and interpersonal skills </li><li>Organised, resilient, and able to manage sensitive matters with discretion </li></ul> <p>Desirables:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with TUPE, redundancy, and organisational change </li><li>Ability to analyse ER data and generate insights </li><li>Familiarity with HRIS and ER tools </li></ul>
