<p>We are seeking a dependable and experienced Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our Operating Room team. This multifaceted role supports both clinical care and logistical operations in a dynamic, fast-paced orthopedic surgical environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and excels in a highly collaborative surgical setting.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist with patient transport, positioning, and preparation before and after surgery.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide basic patient care under RN supervision (e.g., hygiene assistance, vital signs).</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure patient safety and comfort during pre-op and post-op transitions.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the operating rooms and equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with turning over ORs between cases, including waste removal and linen changes.</p> </li><li> <p>Stock and prepare OR suites with necessary surgical supplies and equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Safely lift and transfer patients using proper techniques and equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Set up and maintain anesthesia machines and equipment before, during, and after procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare and stock anesthesia carts.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist anesthesia providers with airway management equipment setup, and other procedural prep.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards in anesthesia work areas.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or equivalent required.</p> </li><li> <p>Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).</p> </li><li> <p>Previous experience as an OR tech, anesthesia tech, orderly, or related role highly preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift, transport, and position patients safely.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication and teamwork skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.</p> </li></ul> <p>Equal Employment Opportunity & Work Force Diversity</p> <p>Our organization is an equal opportunity employer and will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment based on race, color, creed, sex, religion, marital status, age, national origin or ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition, parental status, sexual orientation, veteran status, genetic testing results or any other consideration made unlawful by federal, state or local laws.
