New hires are typically brought into the organization between $22.53 -$27.50/hour. In this position, employees will work three days per week in the office and two days remotely, following a standard schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. On in-office days, you will report to the Republic Plaza Building (370 17th St.) or Wellington Webb Building (201 W. Colfax Ave.). These include multiple city-owned public and private off-street parking facilities, more than 6,000 metered on-street parking spaces, thousands of time-limited and otherwise managed spaces, and general curb lane access. The team also operates several ongoing programs including car share, valet, bike parking, disability parking, on and off-street EV car charging stations, and more. The group is responsible for programming changes to the City's curbside management system through reviewing, evaluating, planning, implementing, and maintaining initiatives that promote access to both commercial and residential properties and other activity centers. The staff are leaders in the parking and curbside management field and work through all projects and ongoing programs to implement the goals of the Mayor's Mobility Action Plan.</p> <p>The Curbside and Parking team is seeking an Administrative Support Assistant IV Permit Tech.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Reviewing applications, forms, and related documents in the administration of the Residential Parking Permit Program, to determine accuracy, completeness, compliance, and adhering to the Residential Parking Permit Program Rules and Regulations. </li><li>Communicating effectively with citizens and managing escalating situations throughout the day to ensure customer service requests are satisfied, escalating issues to management when needed. </li><li>Answering phone calls and responding to emails directly related to the administration of the RPP program. </li><li>Work as a team with Curbside & Parking group, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and attending meetings as needed to achieve Group, DOTI, and City goals. </li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned Any one position may not include all of the duties listed. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring</p> <p>Our ideal candidate has some or all the following experience, skills, and characteristics:</p> <ul> <li>Has strong attention to detail </li><li>Adaptable and has flexibility to jump back and forth between tasks </li><li>Solution oriented problem solver </li><li>Has positive attitude and motivated to help others </li><li>Enjoys repetitive, task-oriented work </li><li>Has experience in customer service focused environments </li></ul> <p>Required Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Education: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate </li><li>Experience: Three (3) years of full performance office support/clerical work (type and level of an Administrative Support Assistant III) </li><li>Education & Experience Equivalency: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements </li></ul> <p>Application Deadline</p> <p>This position is expected to stay open until April 5th.
