<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Department of Natural Sciences & Mathematics is accepting applications for part-time Associate Lecturers that can teach the lecture and lab sections for the following Biology courses:</p> <p>Environmental Science: Lecture Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00-2:15pm and lab Thursday from 2:30-5:00pm</p> <p>Aquatic Biology: Lecture Monday from 1:30-4:00pm and lab 4:15-6:45pm</p> <p>The Associate Lecturer will teach in person in our undergraduate day program on our Milton campus. Screening and review of candidate application materials will begin immediately and will be ongoing.</p> <p>Part-time Associate Lecturers are expected to work collaboratively with faculty in the department to ensure consistent course delivery including the alignment of lecture content and lab activities, scientific skills development, and assessment of the curriculum.</p> <p>In addition, use of the College's learning management system, Canvas, is required to post syllabus, assignments, grades and other materials to communicate with students. In person office hours are expected.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of a Master's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science or a closely related field is required. </li><li>The department is seeking candidates with a history of effective teaching, including experience using active learning techniques. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Canvas LMS a plus. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Committed to attracting and retaining a diverse staff, Curry College will honor your experiences, perspectives and unique identity.
