Key responsibilities include coordinating equipment deliveries, maintenance schedules, repair work, and rental execution. This involves record keeping, cost analysis, compliance with safety and DOT regulations, and assisting with budget development. You will play a vital role in optimizing fleet operations and minimizing costs while ensuring equipment is available and maintained for project needs.</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support the equipment ?eet from equipment tracking, contract negotiations, ?eet purchase order management, rental ?eet execution, and execution for delivery of equipment to project locations.</p> </li><li> <p>Support and track repair and maintenance schedules for the New South Fleet.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate shop and ?eld repair work with internal and external sta? as directed.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and provide recommendations to the Equipment Fleet Director based upon ?eet usage, maintenance, and cost.</p> </li><li> <p>Establish compliance with all safety, environmental, and DOT policies and procedures as it relates to ?eet.</p> </li><li> <p>Support the development of the equipment Capex budget.</p> </li><li> <p>Record keeping and equipment reporting (utilization, services, repairs, etc.)</p> </li><li> <p>Cost minimization (research & compare prices for equipment rentals)</p> </li><li> <p>Perform complete inspections of all ?eet as required.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist Safety and DOT Director in managing electronic logbooks for vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma</p> </li><li> <p>1-3 years' work experience with equipment management or similar profession</p> </li><li> <p>Exceptional fleet management abilities, time management and scheduling e?ciencies</p> </li><li> <p>Skilled in organizing and coordinating ?eet related items</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to de?ne problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, to prioritize and work in a multi-tasked environment</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of methods, materials, construction equipment, and safety hazards of construction projects</p> </li><li> <p>Organized and able to handle multiple tasks</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication skills (verbal/written)</p> </li><li> <p>Establish and maintain e?ective working relationships</p> </li></ul> <p>Why join us?</p> <p>We don't just "talk the talk!"
