<p>Department/Unit:</p> <p>AMHS - Albany Med Clinical EHR</p> <p>Work Shift:</p> <p>Day (United States of America)</p> <p>Salary Range:</p> <p>$106,604.71 - $170,567.54</p> <p>The Epic Inpatient Manager is responsible for leading the Epic Inpatient Applications team to ensure successful implementation, optimization, and support of Epic's Inpatient modules (e.g., ClinDoc, Orders, Stork, ASAP, Beacon). This role works collaboratively with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to align the EHR system with organizational goals, promote clinical workflow efficiency, and enhance patient care.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead, manage, and mentor a team of analysts and specialists supporting Epic and other Clinical Inpatient applications. </li><li>Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to assess needs and implement workflow improvements. </li><li>Manage project timelines, scope, resources, and deliverables to ensure timely completion. </li><li>Coordinate issue resolution, system upgrades, and ongoing support in collaboration with Epic TS, vendor and internal teams. </li><li>Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements (HIPAA, CMS, Joint Commission, etc.). </li><li>Serve as liaison between IT, clinical departments, and Epic for inpatient-related initiatives. </li><li>Provide regular updates to senior leadership regarding project status, issues, and performance metrics. </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to translate clinical needs into technical requirements. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualities:</p> <ul> <li>Passion for improving healthcare delivery through technology. </li><li>Comfort working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. </li><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. </li></ul> <p>Thank you for your interest in Albany Medical Center!</p> <p>Albany Medical is an equal opportunity employer.</p> <p>This role may require access to information considered sensitive to Albany Medical Center, its patients, affiliates, and partners, including but not limited to HIPAA Protected Health Information and other information regulated by Federal and New York State statutes.
