<p>Apply</p> <p>Job Type</p> <p>Full-time</p> <p>Description</p> <p>University Physicians' Association, Inc. is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Medical Assistant (MA) for THE PAT SUMMITT CLINIC. Candidates must be detail-oriented and able to work under deadlines in a very fast-paced office. Applicants must be familiar with giving instructions, processing orders, and making the patients their top priority. This position will work closely with physicians to provide a seamless patient experience. Company will pay for the MoCA Certification needed to administer and score cognitive assessments.</p> <p>Job duties include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Assisting physicians with patient care, scheduling, prior authorizations, obtaining pre-certs for MRIs, CTs, and surgery cases, tracking results, and various other tasks. </li><li>Coordinate with providers for use of the PACs System and uploading of scans into the PACs system to facilitate. </li><li>Administer cognitive testing on patients under supervision of a neurologist. </li><li>Prepare patient charts for clinic ensuring the records, testing and labs are available prior to appointment. </li><li>Maintain cognitive testing and clinical diagnoses databases. </li><li>Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with physicians, patients and their families while conveying a positive image of the practice. </li><li>Skilled at answering patient questions and triaging while managing clinic duties. </li></ul> <p>Full benefit package available, including PTO, Sick Leave, Medical, Dental, Vision, STD/LTD, Life Insurance, 401k with company match and immediate vesting, Critical Illness, EAP, and more!</p> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>6-months to 1-year previous medical experience. Medical Assistant certification is required. </li><li>Strong communication skills, attention to detail, time management, and organization are critical to the overall success of the candidate. </li></ul>
