<p>Wareham Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and qualified EEC Certified Preschool Teacher to join our team at Wareham High School. This unique role bridges the gap between early childhood education and secondary school mentorship. You will be responsible for supporting our preschool program alongside the preschool teacher while simultaneously guiding high school students as they explore careers in education, child development, and college readiness. This is a granted funded position (CPPI Grant). Key Responsibilities Student Mentorship: Lead the advisory block for high school students to assist in lesson planning, skill development for working with children, and navigating college and career pathways. Instructional Oversight: Provide direct supervision and support for high school students within the classroom environment. Collaborative Planning: Partner with the preschool teaching staff to design curriculum, plan daily lessons, and assess the evolving needs of the program. Strategic Initiatives: Support and implement CPPI (Commonwealth Preschool Partnership Initiative) goals and align program activities with broader Wareham High School initiatives. Leadership Communication: Maintain clear and consistent professional communication with the Building Principal and district administration regarding program progress and student success.
