<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Teacher/Per Diem Substitute Teacher</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>5/28/2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>District-Wide</p> <p>&nbsp&nbspAdditional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Bedford Public Schools</p> <p>Invites applications for the position of:</p> <p>Per Diem Substitute</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>To provide continuity of instruction in the absence of the regular teacher</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Review with the principal and/or Director or Program Administrator the schedule to be followed during the teaching day.</p> <p>Follow the instructional plans left by the regular teacher.</p> <p>Assume responsibility for overseeing student behavior in class and out of class.</p> <p>Fulfill the non-teaching assignments of the regular teacher.</p> <p>Leave a note about work completed at the end of each teaching day for the regular classroom teacher.</p> <p>Correct work assigned and tests given.</p> <p>Perform other such duties as may be assigned from time to time by the principal.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Massachusetts teacher licensure a plus</p> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Report to the office upon arrival 30 minutes before the official start of school</p> <p>On-call employee</p> <p>Please specify grade level or subject area willing to substitute for</p> <p>Salary/Benefits:</p> <p>Daily Rate of $125</p> <p>Bedford Public Schools are committed to hiring, mentoring, and retaining a diverse staff.
