We've also developed a career path framework for CNAs that clarifies paths to move, develop and advance CNA careers into nursing and other roles. The Certified Nursing Assistants provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures.</p> <p>Job Requirements</p> <p>In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:</p> <ul> <li>Six months previous CNA experience preferred </li><li>Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English </li><li>Basic computer skills </li><li>Previous customer service experience preferred </li><li>High School diploma or GED required </li><li>Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program required </li><li>State registered CNA license required </li><li>Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training preferred. CPI training required if sitting with M-1 holds </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)</p> <p>Schedule: Full time (nights)</p> <p>Where You'll Work</p> <p>At CommonSpirit Mountain Region, we believe in the healing power of humanity and serving the common good through our dedicated work and shared mission to celebrate humankindness.</p> <p>The Medical Unit at St. Catherine Hospital specializes in general medical and surgical patient care and is a 48-bed unit. We treat adult patients that are 16 years and older needing medical or surgical intervention with no overflow from other departments. We are a desirable department because we value teamwork and collaboration. Patient safety and experience is a priority as well as employee job satisfaction. We look for energetic, reliable and hard-working candidates to join our team.</p>
