You will provide technical guidance to the project team while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure a smooth integration of new initiatives. You will participate in the response and management of cybersecurity incidents. You will report directly to our Sr. Director of Cyber Security and you'll work remotely or out of our Morris Plains, NJ or Houston, TX location on a hybrid work schedule.</p> <p>In this role, you will impact business operations by ensuring the seamless integration of security measures across functions, enhancing the overall security posture of the organization. Your work will directly impact the safety and integrity of systems that power the modern world. Join us at Honeywell, where cybersecurity meets innovation, and together, we'll build a safer and more secure future!</p> <p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Provide technical guidance and mentorship to support project team members </li><li>Oversee the execution of cybersecurity initiatives and projects </li><li>Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope </li><li>Conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses </li><li>Identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies </li><li>Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations </li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address security requirements </li><li>Perform analysis, identification, remediation, and documentation of network intrusions and computer system compromises. </li><li>Handle incident escalations as necessary. Project manage incident response and coordinate remediation with owners. </li><li>Perform malware analysis and forensic analysis of network activity, disks, and memory. </li><li>Contribute to the creation of security awareness materials for the organization </li></ul> <p>Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.</p> <p>YOU MUST HAVE</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or higher in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or another related field </li><li>6+ years of experience in a lead cyber security role </li><li>In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and best practices </li><li>Excellent communication and ability to convey complex technical concepts to stakeholders </li><li>Ability to lead direct and indirect reports by influence </li><li>5+ years of experience in Incident Commanding / Response. </li><li>5+ years in any of the following: </li><li>Network and Host Forensics Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, macOS). </li><li>Log Analysis </li><li>Malware Analysis </li></ul> <p>WE VALUE</p> <ul> <li>Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable </li><li>Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing cybersecurity teams </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <ul> <li>JOB ID: req490676 </li><li>Category: Engineering </li><li>Location: 115 Tabor Road,Morris Plains,New Jersey,07950,United States </li><li>Exempt </li><li></li></ul> <p>Global (ALL)</p> <p>Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer.
