<p>Position Summary: Responsible for management and supervision of Table Games activities on assigned shifts</p> <p>Job Title: Asst Shift Mgr TG</p> <p>Department: Tables</p> <p>Reports To: Shift Manager Table Games</p> <p>FLSA Designation: Exempt</p> <p>License Type: Key</p> <p>Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Maintains game security and protects company assets at all times </li><li>Engages guests during their play and develops relationships to create customer loyalty and repeat visits </li><li>Manages guest disputes, issues or concerns related to the department while maintaining a professional demeanor, balancing the need to protect assets and ensures regulatory compliance with guest satisfaction </li><li>Responsible for the daily replenishment and pick up of card and dice drawers and the accuracy of the Card and Dice Room inventory </li><li>Responsible for assisting Security with table drops, including the dual-access key to the trolley </li><li>Coordinates meetings, files, types and enters data into computer </li><li>Composes and prepares confidential correspondence, reports, and other complex documents </li><li>Manages staffing levels according to volume of business </li><li>Enforces all games procedures and policies </li><li>Prepares necessary shift and other reports </li><li>Makes recommendations for policy or operational changes to ensure efficiency and compliance with regulations </li><li>Operates in accordance with operating budget </li><li>Ensures compliance with all regulatory controls both internal and external including but not limited to state and federal labor laws and the New York State Gaming Commission regulations and guidelines </li><li>Hires, trains and manages staff in accordance with organizational and approved departmental policies, practices and programs </li><li>Discretionary ability to extend complimentary services in accordance with the approved comp matrix (Match Play) </li><li>Performs all other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Must be 21 years of age or older </li><li>Bachelor's degree preferred </li><li>Five or more years' experience in table games supervision and management </li><li>Knowledge of table games math, procedures, game protection, regulations and training requirements </li><li>Knowledge of table games, ie: Blackjack, Craps, Roulette and specialty games </li><li>Must have strong leadership skills with a clear focus on guest service and team member relations as a priority </li><li>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos </li><li>Ability to write simple correspondence </li><li>Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to staff or customers and other employees of the organization </li><li>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions </li><li>Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. </li><li>Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills </li><li>Available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays </li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, see, walk, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms </li><li>Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds </li><li>Must be able to identify colors </li><li>Able to work with others while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor </li></ul>
