<p>Tri-Township is seeking a qualified candidate for the following position:</p> <p>Substitute Teachers</p> <p>Tri-Township is seeking reliable and dedicated Substitute Teachers to join our team, under the general supervision of the School Principal, to facilitate student success and growth in academic skills by implementing lesson plans and daily duties of the absent teacher.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Instruct classes in absence of the regular teacher. </li><li>Assumes all other duties and responsibilities for a teacher during the time of teacher absence. </li><li>Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning while maintaining order in the classroom. </li><li>Supervises students and aides. </li><li>Good oral and written communication skills. </li><li>Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities. </li><li>Maintain the safety, well-being, and work output of students. </li><li>Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation. </li><li>Perform other duties assigned by the Principal. </li><li>Leaves reports when appropriate at the conclusion of each day. </li><li>Maintains confidentiality. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Valid substitute teaching license. </li><li>Background check </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Works in school building environments. </li></ul> <p>Application Procedure:</p> <ul> <li>Interested candidates should submit a resume and letter of interest to Principal Brian McMahan at bmcmahan@tritownship.k12.in.us </li></ul> <p>Applications are accepted until the position is filled.
