<p>Job Description</p> <p>The salary is $95,000 - $100,000. The actual offer will be based on the individual's qualifications.</p> <p>Candidate must be in the Colorado state area.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Initiate, manage and document all investigations relating to internal theft, external theft, fraud and policy violations </li><li>Manage activity of the AP team in the region to include investigations, audits, store visits, and other duties as assigned </li><li>Work with business partners to execute programs which support areas of Inventory Excellence </li><li>Conduct face-to-face and/or telephone interviews with associates suspected of internal theft, fraud or policy violations </li><li>Maintain and track inventory numbers for each store in assigned area, pursue trends in shrinkage and devise improvement strategies in partnership with the Regional and District Leaders </li><li>Perform comprehensive audits of assigned region to analyze business operations and ensure policy and procedural compliance </li><li>Manage Shrink in partnership with the Regional, District and Store Managers </li><li>Conduct Regional, District and Store level loss prevention training both in person or via telephone </li><li>Participate in Regional and District visits and calls as necessary, to strengthen partnerships and improve the overall awareness of the company shortage reduction program </li><li>Utilize XBR exception based reporting software to identify areas of loss or exposure within the company </li><li>Assist in coordination of physical security programs (alarms, CCTV, safes, etc.) </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Proficient knowledge of excepted internal investigation processes and methodologies in a retail environment </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills required </li><li>Must be proficient in Microsoft Office </li><li>Must be self-motivated with highly-effective time management skills </li><li>Must have solid conflict management skills with the ability to work alone in stressful situations </li><li>Must have proficient project planning skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities in order to meet deadlines in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>5 to 7 years of loss prevention experience in a specialty retail environment </li><li>3+ years of multi-unit experience </li><li>Ability to pass an extensive background check </li><li>Ability to work nights, evenings and weekends appropriate to retail business needs </li><li>Certified in Wicklander/Zulawski methodologies on interview and interrogation techniques </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or three years multi-unit related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience </li></ul> <p>OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Up to 60% overnight travel may be required in order to complete the requirements associated with this position </li></ul> <p>" Application Close Date: Advance Auto Parts will accept applications for 60 days from the Application Open Date"</p> <p>Compensation Range</p> <p>81,000.00 USD PER YEAR - 94,500.00 USD PER YEAR</p> <p>Benefits Information</p> <p>https://jobs.advanceautoparts.com/us/en/benefits</p> <p>California Residents click below for Privacy Notice:</p> <p>https://jobs.advanceautoparts.com/us/en/disclosures</p>
