<p>This role supports the Publishing Services Design team to provide creative solutions that support originating departments' objectives. They understand the needs of originating departments and work cooperatively with them to provide creative and design services in close collaboration with the senior design staff and originators.</p> <ul> <li>Solve design problems on small and large projects. </li><li>Replicate projects in multiple languages. </li><li>Support senior staff on more complex projects (sections of the work). </li><li>Develop concepts that represent a product, a message or an experience that solve business and communication objectives, accounting for the design complexities and the associated production requirements. </li><li>Work under minimum supervision on the major aspects of a project's development and progress before work is submitted to originating departments. </li><li>Provide bids and work durations for small and medium projects. </li><li>Work within multilevel approval structures to successfully interpret business needs, research and correlation requirements to produce products and experiences. </li><li>Maintain the appropriate quality and creative standards within schedule and cost limitations. </li><li>Lead client presentations to present recommended ideas, concepts and final products. </li></ul> <p>This role is NOT responsible for the following:</p> <p>Content editing, writing, project management, or people management (hiring decisions, formal performance appraisal, time approval, etc.)</p> <ul> <li>Must be an endowed member with a current temple recommend. </li><li>XML and CSS experience preferred. </li><li>Bachelor's degree. </li><li>Four years of experience, demonstrated through a professional portfolio. </li><li>Good verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Team players who collaborate on projects. </li><li>Demonstrated leadership as they work collaboratively with a team and across divisions. </li></ul>
