Altogether, the company employs nearly 4,800 talented and dedicated employees in North America.</p> <p>Scope:</p> <p>This position is responsible for monitoring the activity in the Label Room and directing the activities of shift employees to support the priorities of the Material Control Department.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinates with other functional groups, including: Customer Service, Supply Chain, Compounding, Production, Scheduling and Quality to ensure goals and priorities are aligned and executed. </li><li>Performs reviews and reconciles SAP transactions and reports to ensure they are completed accurately and timely. </li><li>Identifies and delivers training on SOPs, On-the-Job procedures and work instructions based on job responsibilities. Ensures maintenance personnel are adequately trained. </li><li>Operates powered industrial equipment (PIT) in accordance with established safety procedures, completes daily checklists and notifies the proper individuals of needed repairs. </li><li>Maintains Label inventory in SAP. Investigates inventory related issues and transaction errors in SAP. </li><li>Responsible for coordination of PM'S for label printers and equipment in the department. </li><li>Secures and maintains all necessary safety equipment and follows established safety procedures. </li><li>Reviews Label Reconciliations. For accuracy and compliance within acceptable limits. </li><li>Researches and answers all label inventory and reconciliation, variances. </li><li>Keeps Label Room area clean and orderly always. </li><li>Leads and promotes safety awareness and responsibility within the department and facility that ensures safe work conditions for all employees, contractors and visitors. </li><li>Supports the safety initiatives and processes that help identify and correct any unsafe work conditions. Provides recommendations for improvement to management and the safety department. </li><li>Complies with FDA and cGMP requirements and provides recommendations to improve equipment performance that drives superior quality product. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of three (3) years of experience operating powered industrial equipment in a warehouse/manufacturing environment. </li><li>Five (5) plus years in warehousing environment, preferably in the personal care/pharmaceutical/food industry in lieu of degree. </li><li>Previous experience with reconciling inventory and transaction history. </li><li>SAP experience. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) and SAP </li><li>Strong problem solving, analytical methods and technical skills. </li><li>Ability to make decisions in the absence of supervisory/management leadership. </li><li>Self-starter with strong work ethic. </li><li>Solid leadership skills. </li><li>Strong communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal, team building and organizational skills. </li><li>Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and manage time efficiently and effectively. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be 18 years or older. </li><li>Able to work overtime & weekends as required. </li><li>Wear hairnet, safety glasses, long pants, steel toe shoes/boots and any other uniform standards. </li><li>Read, comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions. </li><li>Ability sit, bend, stoop, climb, and stand for long periods of time in one place. </li><li>Able to lift items up to 50 lbs. </li></ul> <p>This above Job Description is not intended to be an all-encompassing list of responsibilities, skills, efforts, or working conditions associated with this position.
