<p>Apply</p> <p>Job Type</p> <p>Full-time</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Now Hiring - Patient Intake Coordinator Lead</p> <p>Location: Southwest Florida - On-site (Travel)</p> <p>Radiology Regional is one of the largest physician-driven diagnostic imaging providers, with 13 imaging centers, in Southwest Florida. We are seeking a dynamic person with a passion to care for others in the communities we serve. For over 50 years we have earned trust and confidence because of their patient care experience.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>Under the clinical direction of a radiologist and general supervision of the Patient Intake Supervisor and Diagnostic Imagining Center Managers, the front desk personnel perform those duties directly involving the various office procedures of an outpatient diagnostic imaging facility. The services should be provided with attention to detail and with guest services being the primary objective. Performs other related duties with the job classification or organization as necessary or as assigned by management.</p> <p>Essential Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Greet patients immediately and by name in accordance with the company's RAD LIFE theme.? </li><li>Assist patients to complete all required paperwork. Enter, verify, and update patient demographics as required. Re-verify information upon each return patient visit. Obtain patients insurance information and photo ID at every visit. </li><li>Address all patients, staff, and visitors in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. </li><li>Provide follow-up information to patients and visitors. Provide preparation information and instructions to patients. </li><li>Receive files, obtain prescriptions, or verbal orders according to company policies and procedures. </li><li>Scan all required documents into MDM. Verify if a prescription or verbal order is available and valid prior to proceeding with the patient's exam.? </li><li>Verify referring physician's first and last name as well as the street address verbally with patient and assure it matches what is on the order. </li><li>Identify and collect patient co-pay, coinsurance, deductible, and monies due at the time of service. Provide pay agreements and/or receipts for every financial transaction via email and print if requested. </li><li>Initiate patient payment schedule agreements to resolve outstanding balances. </li><li>Secure all check and credit card payments in the company safe in accordance with company policy. Balance daily receipts of check and credit card payments on daily report form. </li><li>Assists in all aspects of training new employees </li><li>Will adapt training style and communication to each individual trainee to facilitate quality and effective training experience. </li><li>Training will take place at a designated site, however, may be required to travel to other locations if needed. </li><li>Understand all software systems and proper utilization of resources (PACS/Merge/OpenDoctor/ Availity/MDM etc.). </li><li>Assure the patient's rights to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, and civil rights are maintained. </li><li>Maintain confidentiality of all classified and sensitive information and records, including patient care information according to HIPAA guidelines? </li><li>Attend and participate in in-service education classes, seminars, staff meetings, and on-the-job training programs as required.? </li><li>Registers and updates patient demographics by collecting detailed information including personal and financial information. </li><li>Able to clarify when an order is valid or not. </li><li>Assists with insurance verifications. </li><li>Assists with problem solving. </li><li>Able to work closely with individuals to answer questions promptly and accurately. </li><li>Punctuality and reliability are required. </li><li>Communication and documentation of error logs of inconsistencies of our systems and processes. </li><li>Responsible for training new hires. </li><li>Provides detailed follow-up on trainee status to Patient Intake Supervisors. </li><li>Holds peers accountable for implemented protocol changes and workflow revisions. </li><li>Assist with Quality Control and processing of check-in accuracy. </li><li>Positive work behaviors that uphold all organizational rules and regulations in and outside the workplace. </li></ul> <p>In addition to a collaborative work environment, we offer a generous compensation package:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive medical, dental and vision benefits plans </li><li>Life and long-term disability insurance </li><li>Three weeks paid time off </li><li>401k with a generous company contribution </li><li>Six paid holidays </li><li>Imaging services for employees and immediate household </li></ul> <p>And much more!</p> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Attention to detail </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Guest service oriented </li><li>Strong computer skills </li><li>Experience in a medical setting is preferred. </li><li>High School Diploma or GED required. </li></ul> <p>Radiology Regional is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p>
